EIGHTH GRADE CELEBRATION
We look forward to hosting our eighth graders formal event. You've worked so hard to get here and we want to make sure you have a magical night full of fun, dancing and unforgettable Viking memories.

You have until February 9th to purchase your tickets.

LOCATION
This event will take place on February 23rd, 2024
at Reception Palace Ballroom located at
14375 S.W. 42nd Street, Miami, Fl 33175
6 - 10 p.m.

STUDENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
DID NOT receive more than one D or F in Academic or Conduct grades for any class.
DID NOT receive any referral to Outdoor suspension.
DID NOT receive 3 or more days of SCSI.
DID NOT accumulate more than 10 unexcused absences, or more than 5 unexcused early sign-outs).
DID NOT accumulate more than 20 tardies to HOMEROOM or ANY class.
DID NOT receive 5 or more detentions during the school year.
HAVE NO financial obligations (such as library fines, lost textbook fees, etc.) prior to purchasing a ticket.
Students MUST attend school on time the day of the event.
This criterion will remain in effect until the day of the event. If a student becomes ineligible after the tickets have been purchased, he/she cannot participate in the event and the money paid for the dance WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. TICKETS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE. Although this is a “fun” evening, students are still governed by the rules and regulations of Miami-Dade County Public School System and MDCPS Code of Student Conduct.
Arvida will be hosting a meeting prior to the dance to review dance day guidelines with all 8th graders.

By purchasing this ticket, the parent and student have read and acknowledged the eligibility requirements and all terms of ticket sales listed above. Ticket sales are final.
